Quality Control
At China Loong Tricycle Co., Ltd., quality control is integrated into material selection, production, assembly, final inspection, and shipment preparation. Our inspection procedures are adapted to the specifications of each order, covering electric and gasoline-powered tricycles, cargo and passenger models, tuk tuks, leisure and special-purpose vehicles, custom three-wheel vehicles, spare parts, cable ties, and wiring accessories.
We use documented requirements, production checks, and inspection records to support consistent workmanship and clear communication with international buyers. For customized and OEM projects, agreed drawings, specifications, configurations, and approved samples serve as key references throughout production.
1. Incoming Material and Component Inspection
Incoming materials and purchased components are checked before being released for production. Inspection scope and sampling methods are determined according to the component type, product requirements, and internal inspection standards.
- Structural materials: Tubes, plates, frames, fasteners, and fabricated parts are checked for specification, dimensions, surface condition, and visible damage.
- Electrical components: Motors, controllers, batteries, chargers, wiring harnesses, connectors, switches, lamps, and related accessories are verified against the required configuration.
- Mechanical components: Braking, steering, suspension, transmission, wheel, axle, and bearing parts are inspected for compatibility and observable workmanship.
- Body and interior parts: Seats, canopies, doors, cargo boxes, panels, glass, and trim components are reviewed for appearance, fit, color, and order-specific requirements.
- Special-purpose components: Refrigeration equipment, cleaning systems, solar charging components, and other application-specific parts are evaluated according to the applicable product specification.
2. In-Process Quality Control
Quality checks are conducted at relevant production and assembly stages so that issues can be identified before the product reaches final inspection. Operators and quality personnel follow work instructions and order-specific requirements, with particular attention to safety-related assemblies and interfaces between major systems.
- Frame and fabrication checks: Key dimensions, alignment, welded areas, mounting positions, and surface preparation are reviewed during fabrication.
- Assembly verification: Steering, braking, suspension, wheels, axles, drive systems, body panels, cargo structures, and passenger fittings are checked for correct installation and secure fastening.
- Electrical installation: Cable routing, terminal connections, insulation protection, polarity, controller connections, lighting circuits, and charging interfaces are examined as applicable.
- Configuration control: Model, color, power system, battery option, accessories, branding, and other customized details are compared with the confirmed order documentation.
- Process issue handling: Nonconforming materials or assemblies are identified and controlled to prevent unintended use until they have been reviewed and properly addressed.
3. Finished Product Inspection and Functional Testing
Completed vehicles and products undergo final inspection based on their design, intended application, and confirmed specifications. Inspection criteria may vary among electric cargo tricycles, passenger tricycles, tuk tuks, foldable e-trikes, manual adult tricycles, refrigerated vehicles, floor-scrubber tricycles, and other custom models.
- Appearance and workmanship: Paint finish, body panels, weld appearance, trim, seats, decals, cleanliness, and visible surfaces are examined.
- Dimensions and configuration: Relevant dimensions, installed components, options, accessories, and identification information are checked against order requirements.
- Steering and braking: Steering movement, handlebar or steering-wheel operation, brake response, parking brake function, and control accessibility are verified as applicable.
- Power and drive functions: Motor operation, acceleration, forward and reverse functions, transmission behavior, controller response, and charging operation are checked according to the vehicle configuration.
- Electrical functions: Headlamps, indicators, brake lamps, horn, display, switches, wiring connections, and other electrical features are function-tested where fitted.
- Application-specific functions: Cargo box operation, passenger doors, folding mechanisms, refrigeration units, cleaning systems, solar-related components, or dual-power functions are checked when included.
- Operational review: Where appropriate, the assembled vehicle is evaluated for basic movement, braking, steering stability, unusual noise, and general operating condition under controlled inspection conditions.
4. Packaging and Pre-Shipment Verification
Before shipment, the order is reviewed to confirm that the products, quantities, accessories, spare parts, labels, and available documents correspond to the agreed requirements. Packaging methods are selected with consideration for product size, transport mode, destination, and customer instructions.
- Exposed surfaces and vulnerable components are protected against scratching, impact, and movement during handling.
- Loose accessories, chargers, tools, spare parts, and detachable components are identified and secured as appropriate.
- Packaging condition, shipping marks, model information, and order references are checked before release.
- For partially assembled or disassembled vehicles, components and fastening items are organized to support efficient destination assembly.
- A final shipment review is completed to identify visible packaging damage, omissions, or configuration discrepancies before loading.
5. Feedback, Corrective Action, and Continuous Improvement
China Loong Tricycle Co., Ltd. treats customer feedback as an important input for quality improvement. When a quality concern is reported, our team reviews the available order information, photographs, videos, component details, and operating conditions to help determine the nature and possible cause of the issue.
Depending on the findings, follow-up actions may include additional inspection, process adjustment, supplier communication, work-instruction updates, packaging improvement, or technical guidance. Relevant observations are shared with responsible teams to reduce recurrence and improve product consistency. For OEM and custom tricycle projects, we also encourage buyers to confirm technical specifications, local application conditions, and regulatory requirements before production so that inspection criteria can be aligned with the intended market and use.
